i called in “sick” the day before yesterday. Partially this was due to my being upset with my workplace*. my calendar for the rest of the year is rapidly filling up.
there is of course our US holiday coming up at the end of August. that's a month of San Franciso, Burning Man and probably a side trip to Portland. we return from that at the end of September.

i've been kind of stressing about the price of air tickets to SF

prices have been falling, but only on routing through LA... and for a variety of reasons we really wanted to fly direct.
